An adorable little card holder made with the top note die….

Here is another goody from my Stamping Retreat.

We used our Simply Scored boards and Stampin’ Trimmers to make the holder itself.  You could make it any size you wanted to really.  For the detailed top flap, we used the Top Note die.  This is quickly becoming one of my favorite dies!   I will be using it for gift tags and gift card holders soon for my Tags and Treasures workshop, so stay tuned!  If you are local, check out on my events page.

We stamped some simple little 3×3 cards for the envelope using the Lovely Little Labels stamp set and made matching envelopes with Simply Scored.  These make great little inexpensive gifts for a friend or even a teacher.  I’m thinking of doing a holiday one to hold gift tags.

Shop now to get your own top note die, Stampin’ Trimmer, and Simply scored tool and make your own!

I have a workshop and a Stamp-a-Stack to prep for so have a good week and get busy stamping!

My weekend stamp retreat

Hello again!  I’m sorry it has been a week since I last posted, but last week was crazy!  My little Lily was sick.  I feel bad that she wasn’t feeling well, but I have to admit that spending my Birthday snuggling my little one was nice.  She isn’t a very snuggly kid unless she’s under the weather.  Then Friday, I left for Tahoe City to enjoy my Birthday gift…. a Stamp Retreat!  It was tons of fun.  I made lots of new friends  and  lots of paper crafts that I will be sharing with you over the next few posts.  Although the weather was absolutely beautiful, I never left the house.  There were too many great projects to work on inside!

At craft retreats, it is customary to bring a RAK (Random Act of Kindness) to share with everyone.  It is just a little goodie to say hello to new friends.  These are some of the great gifts I received.

Don’t you just love crafters?  They put so much time and energy into making something for people they haven’t even met yet.  If you haven’t gotten to get away on a craft retreat, you really should.  Charlene our hostess put so much effort into being sure we had a great time.  There were lots of prize giveaways, great projects, and yummy food.   Maybe next year we’ll see you there 😉

This cute little milk carton made with the Mini Milk Carton Bigz die, Pennant Parade stamp set and the Petite Pennant Builder Punch was Charlene’s RAK.

Isn’t it cute?  This die is on my wish list for sure!

I hope your weekend was as fun as mine!  Now get busy Stampin’!
